Broccoli Salad

Another really yummy summer salad.  It’s super easy and everyone seems to love it!
2 bunches of Broccoli (just the flower part, chopped)
1 lb bacon, diced and well cooked (you could use bacon bits, but fresh bacon tastes better, or leave out the bacon if you are having vegetarians)
1 purple onion
1 cup raisins (craisins or even [...]

Slow Cooker Meat Sauce

I realize I already posted a meat sauce recipe once, but this one is very different and just as good. As the recipe (which I borrowed from the Sept. 09 issue of Family Circle) is written, it tastes like pot roast sauce, which is good, but for my traditional-food loving husband, it was not quite [...]

32oz carton of chicken stock (I use the kitchen basics from Trader Joes)
2 cans cream of chicken soup

Orzo Italiano

I had part of a box of orzo left from a pasta salad I made a few weeks ago (Did I post that recipe? If I didn’t, I should. It was good…) Anyway, I was looking to use up the rest of the orzo when lo and behold I found this recipe on the back [...]

Crazy Yummy Potatoes

This is one my mom makes, all the time. If she didn’t make it all the time, I’d ask her to because I love potatoes and this THIS takes them to the next level. My kids LOVE when I make these…there is never any left, ever!
It’s so simple it’s sick!
