Veggie Quesadillas

I love all things warm and gooey with cheese, especially when they are pressed into a little hand held packages like these.

I never thought much of these until I started making them up for apps when having guests and they were a bit hit. They are actually pretty good reheated in the oven, so I like to make a bunch and keep them in the fridge for quick snacks.

Cream cheese salsa dip

This is a big hit a parties and is so easy it is embarrassing! I always make a double batch my kids have friends over.
1- 8 oz. package of cream cheese softened
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup of your favorite salsa

Rice Salad

Dressing:
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
2 teaspoons finely grated ginger
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Chinese Chicken Salad

Super Easy Sloppy Joes

This is a super easy recipe if you need a quick meal.
2 pounds of hamburger
1/2 cup onion chopped
1 1/2 jars of Heinz Chili Sauce
Brown the hamburger and onion. Drain the fat. Pour on Chili Sauce. Stir together. Simmer on low for 30 minutes.
Serve on hamburger buns. Good topped with cheddar cheese.

Ingredients:

1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Water
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
2 Tablespoons butter
6 Whole apples, pared or cored, or 3 apples pared and sliced
