Crescent Roll Casserole

Published by JustMe under Beef, Casserole, Dinner, Food

1 lb ground beef (lean), browned and drained
1 can crescent rolls
1 small container sour cream
1 package Italian dressing mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 small can sliced mushrooms (optional)

Preheat oven to 325F. Put ground beef and mushrooms in a baking dish. Mix Italian dressing mix with sour cream. With crescent rolls flat, spread thin layer of sour cream over one side and roll up. Arrange rolls over ground beef and sprinkle cheese over all. Bake for 30-45 minutes or until rolls are brown and cheese is melted.

You had me at Cresent Rolls. I have all of these ingredients in my possession except italian dressing mix, which I easily pick up tomorrow. I will be making this soon! Thanks!

Quick question… do you lay the whole sheet of the crescent roll on top of the meat mixture or do you roll up the rolls individually?

@charmedimsure: Roll them up individually and place the rolls on top of the meat mixture… any way you want. I sometimes try to be creative (and get giggles out of the 4 yo) and make designs out of the rolls… like once I placed them so they’d form a Z (the first letter of my 4yo’s name).
